गौमाता की सेवा से मानवता की सेवा तक
Shri Shyam Gau Seva Sansthan is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) rooted in the holy city of Maihar, Madhya Pradesh. Our work is driven by pure compassion — safeguarding abandoned cattle, extending urgent medical relief, and helping needy children build a dignified future through education.
Our Gaushala Sanctuary is situated at Behind Baba Talab, Satna Road, Maihar. It serves as a peaceful, safe refuge where sick, injured, elderly, and destitute cows receive regular nourishment, clean water, hygienic sheds, and personalized veterinary care.
Our Administrative Office is located near Meera Bai Dharamshala, Katra Bazar, Maihar, where community outreach, volunteer coordination, and daily seva activities are managed.
We believe every living being deserves respect, care, and protection. Here is how our daily seva operates on the ground:
Rescuing destitute, abandoned, and old cows from roads and hazards, giving them lifelong peaceful shelter, clean water, and loving care.
Immediate first-aid, wound dressings, surgery assistance, and daily medication for road-accident and disease-stricken animals.
Providing green fodder, dry straw, nutritious grains, and mineral supplements every single day of the year without interruption.
Assisting economically disadvantaged children with school fees, learning materials, and books so financial hardship never stops education.
Sensitizing society on cow welfare, cruelty prevention, and inspiring youth and families to actively take part in social seva.
Our guiding philosophy is that social transformation is most enduring when animal welfare and human welfare walk hand-in-hand. Along with our gaushala, we actively reach out to bright young students in Maihar who lack resources, helping them stay in school.
Whether you contribute monthly fodder or volunteer your time, your support directly touches innocent lives every single day.
